Alex McDonald represents and advises clients on a range of disputes involving trusts, wills, estates, relationship property and civil aspects of family law.
Alex has particular experience in acting for clients in cases involving elder abuse including the removal of persons holding enduring powers of attorney and the appointment of property managers under the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act 1988; claims under the Family Protection Act 1955 and Testamentary Promises Act. Alex also has expertise in dealing with applications under the Administration Act 1969 and the Trustee Act 1956 including applications for the removal of administrators and trustees. She has also acted for clients in estate matters involving questions of testamentary capacity and undue influence.
